Welcome to the Cybersecurity Center at Virginia Peninsula
Virginia Peninsula’s cybersecurity program consists of two components: a Career Studies Certificate for those who already have a degree and are seeking specialization, and an AAS Program for incoming freshmen seeking a career in Cybersecurity. We also provide coursework aligned with the following certifications for those individuals currently working in the industry and needing industry certifications:
CompTIA: Cloud+, Network+, Security+, Linux+
Cisco Systems: CCNA
SANS GIAC: GISF
Our IST AAS degree - cybersecurity pathway, is transferable to many four-year institutions and offers students the opportunity to participate in cybersecurity competitions, conferences, and the ability to network with cybersecurity students at other Virginia colleges and universities.
