VPCC students on a transfer visit to CNU

Guaranteed Admission Agreements

Virginia Peninsula has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities throughout Virginia. These agreements, developed collaboratively by the Virginia Community College System and participating institutions, allow students to complete the equivalent of the first two years of an undergraduate degree at Virginia Peninsula Community College. When completing an approved transfer degree, students can seamlessly transition to a four-year institution.

We have Guaranteed Admission Agreements with over 30 Virginia colleges and universities. For detailed information about the transfer process, please visit Transfer Virginia.

Articulation within the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) is a dynamic process. The most reliable source of transfer information is the admissions office at a four-year college. Students are encouraged to take a proactive role in confirming transfer information. For college-specific transfer information, contact a Virginia Peninsula Academic Advisor or the admissions office of any Virginia community college or four-year university and request a transfer guide.

If you are a current or returning student, please schedule an appointment in Navigate with an academic advisor to discuss your transfer options. For questions about programs at Virginia Peninsula Community College, please e-mail us at transferadvising@vpcc.edu.
