Virginia Peninsula Community College and the Peninsula Regional Educational Program have come together to help you get training for in-demand jobs with the Road to Success in Virginia Program — RSVP.
The RSVP Grant program can help you get “trained up” in the following programs:
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant
- Clinical Medical Assistant
- EKG Technician
- Medical Billing & Coding
- Nurse Aide Education (CNA)
- Phlebotomy Technician
Who qualifies for RSVP grants?
Qualified applicants are TANF customers or families with income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. Families must include one child under the age of 18.

The program offers grant funds for the programs listed above, and once the student completes the training, RSVP assists in a job search to students placed in new career. Additional support services include: career counseling, mock interviews, soft skills training, health and welfare support.
