VPCC will host the SACSCOC On-site review committee October 26-30, 2025. The on-site team will visit some of our off-campus instructional sites (i.e., dual enrollment sites, Historic Triangle Campus, Southeast Center) and meet with key individuals at the College. The Committee has several goals including: 1) To clarify any questions that remain after having reviewed the materials submitted in the Differentiated Review and Focused Report; 2) To ensure that VPCC is compliant with all key areas of accreditation as required by the US Department of Education; 3) To review and provide feedback on the colleges Quality Enhancement Plan.
Logistics
Sunday, October 26: On-Site Visit Committee Members will begin arriving in Hampton. They will be housed together at a local hotel and VPCC will manage their time while visiting.
Monday, October 27: The team will visit several of our instructional sites within the VPCC service area such as the Historic Triangle Campus, the Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Education, and some of our dual enrollment locations.
Tuesday, October 28 and Wednesday, October 29: The team will conduct meetings and interviews with students, faculty and staff on the Hampton Campus. They will be primarily in the Peninsula Workforce Development Center for these meetings.
Thursday, October 30: The team will host an exit meeting with VPCC leadership to share initial findings from their visit.
