Students will learn how to set up and operate traditional shop machines, including manual lathes and milling machines. They will also create 3D computer models and detailed technical drawings using modern design software.
In addition, students will produce prototypes with 3D printers, use advanced CAD/CAM software to generate CNC programs, identify and fix issues in those programs when needed, and set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture finished products.
