Social Science – Associate of Science Degree

Our Associate of Science Degree in Social Science offers a curriculum that emphasizes cultural and social understanding, critical thinking, written and oral communication, quantitative and scientific reasoning and information literacy to develop skills required in the workplace or for bachelor’s degree level studies in programs such as psychology, economics, political science, history and sociology.

This degree is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a bachelor’s degree.
