
The Criminal Justice Career Studies Certificate is designed to prepare students for an entry level position in the criminal justice field and to provide promotional opportunities for individuals currently working in the criminal justice field. This curriculum provides foundational knowledge of the criminal justice system.

Students will be prepared for employment in entry level positions in various fields which are related to the criminal justice system. They will receive a broad exposure to the criminal justice world, through Administration of Justice classes such as ADJ 105 – The Juvenile Justice System, ADJ 116 – Special Enforcement Topics, ADJ 131 – Legal Evidence I, ADJ 229 – Community Policing in Modern Society, and others.
The Criminal Justice Career Studies Certificate requires a student complete 18 credit hours of classes to complete the program.
