Virginia Peninsula Community College is proud to offer programs and classes at our two — soon to be three — locations in the City of Newport News. Over the past few years, VPCC has expanded our presence in Newport News, catering classes and programs specifically for its residents.
Our first location, the Southeast Higher Education Center, is located within the Achievable Dream Middle School. Our newest location, is the Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Development, and is a part of the Newport News Early Childhood Development Center.
Soon, students will be able to take classes in welding, marine electrical, structural fitting, coatings, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and facilities maintenance at our Newport News Trades Center, which is currently under construction.
