VUU Theatre’s 4.48 Psychosis

The Dr. Mary T. Christian Theatre

Free and open to the public. The final play by British playwright Sarah Kane, first staged nearly one and a half years after her death on February 20, 1999. The play is an intense, poetic exploration of one person’s struggle with severe depression and suicidal thoughts. It delves into themes of mental illness, isolation, and the search for connection, offering an unflinching and deeply emotional look into the mind of someone experiencing profound psychological pain.
