Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony VPCC Newport News Trades Center

Virginia Peninsula Community College is gearing up to open its Newport News Trades Center. A ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, at the 520 21st St. facility. College officials will be joined by city and industry leaders for the celebration.
The new training facility is scheduled to open this spring and is expected to prepare more than 400 students annually for in-demand careers in maritime trades and residential construction, fields critical to the region’s economy and national defense priorities.
