POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremony

Join us at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, for a POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremony in observance of National POW/MIA Recognition Day.
The ceremony takes place on the Hampton Campus in the Military & Veteran Services office (Room 253 – Kecoughtan Hall).
Presented by MVS in collaboration with Student Life & Leadership, this solemn ceremony honors U.S. service members who were prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action. Through symbolic tributes including the Missing Man Table, readings, and moments of reflection, we reaffirm our commitment to remembering their sacrifice and ensuring they are never forgotten.
An annual observance, National POW/MIA Recognition Day is observed on the third Friday of September.
