Description:
This drone training aims to introduce young students (ages 8 to 10) to the exciting world ofunmanned aerial vehicles (drones). By providing hands-on experience, sparking an interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields, inspire creativity, and build foundational skills in emerging technologies. Program Overview:Students will leam drone safety, practice basic flight skills, and complete fun obstacle-course and mission-based activities. Objectives: Teach basic drone safety and operation. Build confidence through hands-on flight practice. Encourage STEM interest through creative challenges. Logistics: VPCC will provide classroom space, drones, and a certified instructor. The Boys and Girls Club will recruit students and collect parent/guardian consent forms fr 8 students. Students will gain hands-on skills focusing on basic movements and receive a flight participation certificate.
