Future Gators
We are excited you are interested in our college and athletic program. Our goal is to provide student athletes with a first class junior college athletic experience. There are three main areas of importance for you as a recruit studying our program.
1. Academics
THE STUDENT ATHLETE
Success at Virginia Peninsula CC begins and ends in the classroom. Experienced, knowledgeable, caring and quality faculty is where you begin. Along the way our renowned tutoring center, academic labs or other support groups assist you in becoming your best. Our coaches and athletic director work with other faculty and staff to monitor your progress and make sure you are connected with help you may need.
2. Community
COMMUNITY SERVICE
You will experience community at many levels. Our Gator community is supportive of our student athletes. Not only will you experience this on campus with faculty and staff – you will see them at games and around town. It is exciting to witness the student support at home and away athletic events. Our surrounding community has demonstrated tremendous interest in attendance, fundraising and excitement for Gator athletics. Virginia Peninsula Community College will embrace and welcome you into the Gator family.
3. Athletics
CHAMPIONS
We will provide you with a first class experience in every aspect of your sport. Coaching, facilities, gear, travel, support staff; all the tools you need to improve and showcase your talents are here. Our goal is to prepare you for success after you leave Virginia Peninsula CC – on and off the court/field.
