Every year, each VNA local chapter provides a $1000 scholarship to a prelicensure nursing student who attends school in their area. This scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates commitment to their nursing education and involvement in their local and/or school communities.

Requirements
- Have successfully completed at least four nursing courses (and received grades) in a nursing program at a state-approved and nationally-accredited school of nursing in Virginia.
- Be a Virginia resident.
- Have a college/university cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale.
