The Introductory Motorcycle Experience (IMEu) is designed for the student who may have concerns or anxiety about motorcycling or would just like a more personal, slow paced first-touch experience to the motorcycle in a small group setting, preferably prior to a Basic Rider Course.This first experience is not a learn-to-ride or a licensing course. The overall aim is to introduce basic primary controls and operational characteristics of a motorcycle with a goal for each participant to achieve the maximum possible success to determine if motorcycling might be something they would like to pursue. The only prerequisite to attend is each participant must be able to ride a bicycle.This course is for:Anyone who has never ridden a motorcycle.Anyone who wants to see if learning to ride may be right for them.Anyone who wants an introduction to motorcycling in a small group settingAnyone who wants or needs extra time to prepare for the Basic RiderCourse.We provide:Motorcycle Safety Foundation certified Instructors.Small class sizes (3:1) for more personal attention.Basic introduction to motorcycle operation.Slow, relaxed pace for maximum confidence and fun.Training motorcycles, helmets, and participation certificate.Students must provide the following protective clothing: Eye protection (glasses, goggles or face shield)Long sleeve shirt and/or jacketGloves (full-fingered, abrasion resistant, no skin exposed. . . preferably leather)Sturdy pants (denim jeans or better) that reach footwear when standing with no tears or holesSturdy, over-the-ankle footwear, with a low heel*STUDENTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RIDE WITHOUT THIS CLOTHING*
