The NCCER Core Curriculum-Introductory Craft Skills is a prerequisite to all other NCCER Level 1 craft curriculum. The course includes key content such as Basic Safety, Introduction to Construction Math, Introduction to Hand Tools, Introduction to Power Tools, Construction Drawings, Basic Rigging, Basic Communication Skills, Basic Employability Skills and Introduction to Materials Handling. Upon successful completion of this course the student will have a good foundation on which to build any of the specific NCCER crafts.
