Our 77 hour/11-week EKG Technician program prepares you for this excellent career and to sit for a national EKG Technician certification exam. You will gain classroom instruction to help you acquire a strong understanding of electrocardiography. Over the course of 11-weeks you will gain exposure to job duties that include unit operation and troubleshooting, lead placement, use and understanding of EKG grid paper, recognizing EKG patterns in all 12 leads, plotting the EKG axis, and much more! Successful completion of the course prepares students to sit for the NHA-National Healthcareer Association CET-Certified Electrocardiography Technician exam. Participants must be at least 18 years old and have earned a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must attend a mandatory info session.
