(3 credits) corequisite: MEC 100. Provides an introduction to hardwired relay logic and the programmable logic controller (PLC) as utilized in a variety of different control tasks. Covers different types of inputs and outputs in control system. Teaches practical troubleshooting strategies. Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 2 hours, total 4 hours per week.
