Description:
(3 credits) prerequisites: ENG 112 or ENG 113 or departmental approval. Examines British literary traditions and texts from diverse time periods, genres, and authors. Develops critical thinking and interpretive skills through close reading, discussion, and analysis of literary texts in their historical, cultural, social, and/or literary contexts. Lecture total 3 hours per week. Credit will not be awarded for ENG 245 and ENG 243 or ENG 242. THIS IS AN APPROVED UCGS COURSE.
