Description:
(1 credit) Prerequisite(s): Current Virginia EMT and CPR Certification as approved by the Virginia Office of EMS and EMS 121, EMS 123, EMS 125, EMS 126, EMS 127, EMS 128. Introduces students to live patient assessment and management in the clinical setting. Begins a continuum involving live patients that leads to entry-level competence at the paramedic level. Internship 3 hours per week.
