Description:
(3 credits) Prerequisite(s): CHD 120 and one additional CHD course. Co-requisite: CHD 205. Additional requirements include a TB test and a criminal check. Focuses on observation as the primary method for gathering information about children in early childhood settings. Emphasizes development of skills in the implementation of a range of observation techniques. May be taken again for credit. Seminar 2 hours + Field placement 2 hours = total 4 hours per week.

This is an internship course that requires 40 hours in the field. TB and background check required. Instructor permission required to enroll.
