Description:
(4 credits) BIO 141/142 must be taken in sequence. Prerequisite(s): BIO 141 with a grade of C or better. Continues study of anatomy and physiology including endocrine system, blood and cardiovascular system, lymphatic system and immunity, respiratory system, urinary system, fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base balance, digestive system and nutrient metabolism, reproductive system, and prenatal development. Lecture 3 hours + lab 3 hours = total 6 hours per week.

Students must login to Canvas regularly to check for course announcements, complete assignments, check grades and feedback, and participate in any other course activities required by the instructor. There are NO required online class meetings. Instructors will post recordings on any live sessions conducted as part of the course. Students must have regular access to a computer and the Internet to successfully complete this course. Some courses require proctored testing.
