Description:
(3 credits) Prerequisite(s): ART 131 and ART 141 and (ART 283 or PHT 135). Studies the principles of visual communications as applied to advertising in newspapers, magazines, direct mail advertising, house organs, etc. Analyzes the influence of contemporary art on design. Finished work is produced on the computer. Lecture 2 hour + studio instruction 3 hours total 5 hours per week.
